Privacy policy
How Edge Command Center Mailboxes, part of the Edge Investments Command Center, accesses, uses, stores, and shares Google user data.
Last updated October 9, 2026
Who this covers
The Command Center is a private operations system that Edge Investments LLC ("Edge Investments," "we," "us") in Batesville, Arkansas, is building for its rental homes, The Royal on Main, and Suites on Main. It is not offered to the public.
Edge Command Center Mailboxes is the Google app that connects the Command Center to Gmail. This policy covers the data that app receives from Google APIs when a mailbox owned by Edge Investments or one of its properties is connected. Our website has its own privacy policy.
The app uses two separate kinds of connection, each with its own single Google permission. A mailbox connected for one purpose does not get the other's permission.
What the app does today
Edge Command Center Mailboxes is in an early, owner-operated stage. It runs on n8n Cloud, a workflow service.
- Read-only mailbox test (active). The owner starts a Gmail connection test by hand. The test returns the connected mailbox's email address, its message and thread counts, and a mailbox history marker. It does not fetch the content of messages or attachments.
- Send-only form notifications (active). A separate connection for our business inbox, info@edgeinvestmentsllc.com, has permission only to send email. Each time someone submits a form on our website, it sends an email from that inbox to the same inbox. The workflow sends only to our own business inbox.
Automated reading or sorting of mail, AI, calendar updates, and spreadsheet updates are not active. We plan to add some of these later, and we will update this page before any of them start.
Google data we access
The app only connects to mailboxes owned by Edge Investments and its properties. Each connection requests one Google permission:
| Service | Permission | What it allows |
|---|---|---|
| Gmail, mailbox test | Read-only (gmail.readonly) | Reading messages, attachments, labels, and mailbox settings in the connected mailbox. It does not allow sending email or changing, labeling, or deleting messages. |
| Gmail, form notifications | Send only (gmail.send) | Sending email from the connected business inbox. It does not allow reading, changing, labeling, or deleting messages. |
The read-only permission covers the whole connected mailbox, even though the current test reads only the account summary described above. Google's send permission isn't limited to one recipient; our notification workflow is set to send only to our own business inbox. If we request any other Google permission, we'll update this page first.
How we use it
Today we use Google data only to confirm that a business mailbox is connected correctly: which account it is, and that the connection can read its summary.
The send-only connection doesn't read mailbox data. It uses Gmail only to deliver our website form notifications to our own inbox. The details in those notifications come from our website forms, and our website privacy policy covers them.
We plan to use Gmail data later to help staff sort and answer mail from guests, residents, applicants, and vendors. That is not active yet. Any such use will be for Edge Investments' own operations only, and this page will describe it before it begins.
AI processing
No Google user data is sent to AI models today. If we add AI features, we'll name the providers and describe what they receive here before we start.
We do not use Google user data to develop, improve, or train generalized AI or machine learning models.
When we share it
We don't sell Google user data, and we don't use it or share it for advertising. We share it only as needed to run the app, with:
- n8n Cloud, the workflow service that runs the app. It stores the connection credentials for each connected mailbox and records of each run.
We may also disclose data when the law requires it, to protect people's safety or our systems, or as part of a sale or merger of the business, with notice where the law requires.
Limited Use
Edge Investments' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Nobody at Edge Investments reads Google user data through the app unless it's needed for security, to comply with the law, or to fix a problem the mailbox owner has asked us to look into.
Storage and security
- The Google app is registered in Edge Investments' Google Cloud project. The workflow itself runs on n8n Cloud, not on Google Cloud, and not on the service that hosts this website.
- n8n Cloud stores the connection credentials (the access and refresh tokens) for each connection.
- n8n Cloud keeps a record of each run, which can include what the test returned: the mailbox address, message and thread counts, and history marker.
- Data moves between Google, n8n Cloud, and us over encrypted connections.
- Original messages stay in Gmail. The app does not copy messages out of the mailbox. Notifications it sends are kept in the sending inbox's Sent folder, like any other email.
How long we keep it
Connection credentials are kept until the mailbox owner revokes access or we disconnect the mailbox. Run records are kept in n8n Cloud until we delete them. Before the app starts reading or processing mailbox messages automatically, we'll set a fixed retention period for run records and publish it here.
Revoking access and deleting data
These are two separate steps:
- Revoke access. The owner of a connected account can remove the app's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. A Google Workspace administrator can also remove it for Workspace accounts. This stops new access but does not delete records already kept.
- Delete data. To ask us to delete stored credentials and run records for a connection, email info@edgeinvestmentsllc.com. We'll respond within 30 days.
Changes
If we change how the app uses Google data, including adding any of the planned features above, we'll update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect.
